Dear Esteemed Residents,
We are delighted to announce our upcoming celebrations for Durga Puja, Lakshmi Puja, Kali Puja, and Saraswati Puja this year. The grand inauguration of Durga Puja is scheduled for Panchami, on the 19th of October 2023. Detailed information regarding these events will follow shortly.
Subscriptions: In accordance with our last Special General Meeting (SGM), held on 23.07.2023, the subscription for all the mentioned Pujas is Rs. 1,000/- and the Annual Membership subscription remains unchanged at Rs. 1,000/-. The total payable amount is Rs. 2000/-. Additionally, we kindly urge our learned residents to donate generously for the Puja or consider sponsoring various Puja events and articles. We earnestly seek the wholehearted cooperation and support of all residents for the success of these events.
Payment Methods: You can make payments through the following methods:
- By cheque: Payable to `Salt Lake FE Block Residents` Association.
- By cash: To your respective Lane Representatives (preferred) or at the Association`s office at the Community Centre on the designated days.
Office Functioning: The Association`s office is open every day except Sunday from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm
Community Get-together: Continuing the tradition from previous years, we have planned a Community Get-together and Lunch on Saptami (Saturday, the 21 st October 2023), Ashtami (Sunday, the 22nd October 2023), and Nabami (Monday, the 23rd October 2023). On Saptami and Ashtami, Vegetarian lunch will be served, while on Nabami, you can choose between Non-Vegetarian and Special Vegetarian options.
For our very elderly and unwell residents who face mobility issues, we will arrange takeaway food parcels. These parcels must be collected by a family member on behalf of the resident by producing the Parcel Coupon between 12.30 pm and 2.30 pm. Please inform your respective Lane Representative about the need for Parcel Coupons.
Food Coupons for Residents: This year`s Food Coupons for Residents are priced as follows:
Saptami: Rs. 80/Ashtami: Rs. 100/- Nabami: Rs- 180/-
An additional amount of Rs- 20/- will be charged as packaging cost for each parcel.
We kindly request residents to collect the Food Coupons from their respective Lane Representatives. You can also obtain food coupons from the Association`s office upon presenting the current receipt of the Annual and Puja subscriptions. Last date for collecting Food Coupons from your Lane Representative is 9.00 pm on Sunday, the 15th of October 2023 and from the Association`s office is on Tuesday, the 17th of October 2023.
