We are pleased to share the schedule of events for our upcoming Kali Puja Celebration on 11th and 12th November 2023.
Cultural Program on 11th November, 6:30 PM: On 11th November 2023 we cordially invite you to be a part of a “spectacular Sangeet Sandhya- Tribute to S.D. Barman & R.D. Burman” at our Community Centre. This event promises to be an exceptional showcase of the rich talents and performances by our fellow block residents.
Our Cultural Program will kick off at 6:30 PM with a heartwarming collaboration. We are honoured to feature persons with visual impairments from Workshop for the Blind, located at LB-6, Salt Lake, who will demonstrate their remarkable singing skills and abilities. This is a unique opportunity for us to come together, showing our support and preciation for their incredible talents & skills.
In addition, the EC, on behalf of Salt Lake FE Block Residents’ Association, has planned to make a token monetary donation to the Workshop for the Blind to support their developmental activities. We warmly encourage residents who wish to contribute, either in cash or kind, to help the visually impaired. Please feel free to reach out to Smt. Kali Puja Ritual on 12th November, 6:00 PM: The main event, the Kali Puja ritual, will take place on Sunday, 12th November 2023. The Kali puja nirghanta is shared below:
Immersion will take place on 13th November 2023 at 7.00 pm in Babughat. Please join us as we seek the blessings of Goddess Kali and celebrate the triumph of light over darkness.
Vegetarian Dinner on 12th November: A subsidized vegetarian dinner will be hosted on the night of 12th November 9:00 PM. This presents a wonderful opportunity to share a meal, enjoy each other`s company, and strengthen the bonds of our community. Coupons, priced at Rs. 100/- each, can be obtained from your Lane Representatives and also from the Community Centre, as well as our Caretaker, Sri Rajesh Chourasia (Pandit Ji), until 10th November 2023. Please note that takeaway or parcel delivery service will NOT be available for this event.
Government-Approved Green Fire Crackers: In accordance with government regulations and our commitment to the environment, we kindly request all residents to use only government-approved green firecrackers during the festivities. Please refrain from using any kind of banned firecrackers. Let`s celebrate responsibly.
