Dear Esteemed Residents,

We are delighted to announce the festive celebrations for Durga Puja, Lakshmi Puja, Kali Puja, 2024 and Saraswati Puja, 2025. This year marks the 40th year of our Durga Puja, a milestone we are proud to celebrate together. The grand inauguration will take place on Chaturthi (???????), the 7th October 2024. Detailed information about each of these events will be shared with you shortly.

Subscriptions: As decided in the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on June 30, 2024, the subscription rates for the year 2024-25 are as follows: -

1. Annual Membership Subscription: Rs. 1,000/- (unchanged)

2. Puja Subscription: Rs. 1,000/- (unchanged)

3. One-time Subscription for the 40th Year Puja Celebration: Minimum Rs. 500/-

The total payable amount is a minimum of Rs. 2,500/-. We kindly encourage our esteemed residents to contribute generously towards the Puja or consider sponsoring various Puja events and articles. Your wholehearted cooperation and support are vital to the success of our 40th-year Durga Puja celebration.

Payment Methods: You can make payments through the following methods to your respective Lane Representatives (preferred) or at the Association`s office at the Community Centre, from 7:30 pm to 9:00, every day except Sunday:

(a) By cheque: Payable to Salt Lake FE Block Residents Association.

(b) By cash.

As in previous years, we will gather for community lunches on the three main days of Durga Puja. In keeping with tradition, vegetarian lunches will be served on Saptami and Ashtami, while both non-vegetarian and special vegetarian options will be offered on Navami. We will also meet for the Bijaya Sammelani on the final day of our cultural program after Durga Puja, on 15th October 2024, during which a packed vegetarian dinner will be provided.

Cost of Lunch and Dinner coupons:-

i) Saptami (Thursday, the 10th October 2024): Rs. 80/-

ii) Ashtami (Friday, the 11th October 2024): Rs. 120/-

iii) Nabami (Saturday, the 12th October 2024): Rs. 200/-

iv) Bijaya Sammelani (Tuesday, the 15th October 2024): Rs. 70/-

Takeaway Parcels: For our elderly residents and those facing mobility challenges or health issues, we are pleased to offer takeaway food parcels. A nominal charge of Rs. 20/- per parcel will be added to cover packaging costs. These parcels should be collected by a family member or domestic help from the designated lunch venue between 12.30 PM and 2.30 PM.

Food Coupon Collection: We kindly request all residents to collect their Food Coupons from their respective Lane Representatives at the earliest convenience. Alternatively, Food Coupons can be obtained from the Association’s office upon presenting the current subscription receipt.

Important: To ensure smooth and efficient management during the community lunches and dinners, no Food Coupons will be issued beyond the dates mentioned below. Please make sure to collect your coupons within the stipulated time to avoid any inconvenience.
