For many years, residents of FE Block have rallied together to donate blood at our bi-annual Festive Season Blood Donation Camp. To address the urgent need for donations, the Salt Lake FE Block Residents` Association is organizing a Blood Donation Camp this Sunday, October 27, 2024 from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm at the FE Community Centre. Uttar Kolkata Marwari Mahila Samiti will be our associate partner.

We urge you to spare just half an hour from your Sunday to donate blood and help alleviate the blood crisis, arising due to festive season, potentially saving precious lives. Remember a single donation can impact up to 4 lives positively.

Moreover, regular blood donation (at least twice a year) not only serves the community but also contributes to maintaining your own health, fitness, and energy levels.

DIABETIC (non-insulin) & HYPERTENSION Patients CAN Donate Blood. Blood Bank medical team will assess your condition before accepting donations.

Donors aged between 18 and 65 are welcome. If you are ineligible to donate due to health, age or other reasons, please encourage at least two others to donate.

Before coming to the camp, ensure you drink 1-2 glasses of water and avoid an empty stomach. If you`ve had a rice-based meal, you have to wait 2-3 hours before donating. Plan your breakfast and lunch accordingly. Light refreshment will be available at the camp
