With great concern it is being observed that COVID 19 has spread in Salt Lake area, including in FE Block in last few days. In order to face this challenge we need to be more vigilant. However, most of the cases in the block could be cured by the time being in home quarantine treatment under advise of Doctor.  In view of this background, the Executive Committee, in its last meeting of 12th July 2020, decided to develop a Team to deal with various aspects of COVID 19 outbreak. Before that there has been a meeting of Health Subcommittee on 10th July 2020, in presence of the medical practitioners staying in the Block.

At the outset, we would like to furnish the following information for the benefit of Block residents.

Case 1: If anybody is contracted with `fever, throat pain or cough and cold` he/she may consult Telemedicine help line for COVID-19 Patients: 03323576001 (round the clock).

Case 2: If anybody tests COVID +ive he/she may consult Admission Cell 6290648755 or 6291215847, within 9AM to 9PM. It needs to be informed in this context that only earmarked ambulances are available for serving COVID 19 patients.

Case3: Chief Health Officer/Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation (CHO/BMC) Shri Kusum Adhikary (mob: 9477100896) may also be consulted in case of urgency. 

  I would also like to inform you that in case of an emergency Block Association has made provision for Oxygen cylinders, Pulse Oxymeters under the custody of Shri Shailandra Singh FE-331 (9830042406) kept at his residence. Ailing Block residents whose attending doctor has prescribed for support of such devices may avail this facility. 

We have organized a list of willing members from each lane with whom you may contact over phone for any assistance. 

Other salient information regarding COVID-19:

In this circular you will find adequate information on the facilities for COVID testing, satellite centres for treatment, home consulting facilities and hospitalization facilities available in the city. Over and above, we have also mentioned the do`s and don`ts to prevent the pandemic to the extent possible. While requesting all the residents to abide by the statutory guidelines issued by Government authorities and the Block Association, we would request you not to create panic and also avoid any perception-based stigma.

E. Restrict outsider entry to house
