Following decisions have been taken in the last Annual General Meeting held on 5th July 2020 and in the subsequent Executive Committee Meeting held on 12th July 2020:

1. Residents are requested to contribute to a special fund for renovation of the Community Centre building and beautification of the surrounding area. We are expecting special donation of Rs.1000/- from each resident. 
2. Independence Day will be observed in the Block on 15th August 2020, at 9 a.m., to abide by the statutory guidelines issued by government authorities. Members are requested not to participate in the event in physical form. Attempt will be made to display the event in virtual platform, preferably online.
3. On 8th August 2020, the App – Salt Lake FE Block will be launched formally with organizing a seminar on the way of living in new normal situation. Dr. Hirak Sen, notable technologist and General Sankar Roy Chowdhury, will speak on the subject. Mr. Gautam Ray, President, will chair the function. This seminar will be held in virtual platform.
4. A musical evening will be organized on virtual platform on 30th August 2020, at 7 p.m.
5. It has been observed that inspite of our repeated requests, residents are parking their vehicle in indisciplined manner, occupying both sides of the lanes, thus, creating impediment for normal vehicular movement, which may cause disruption in case of any emergency. This is being informed to the residents that such indiscipline act in the part of residents will be dealt strictly in administrative manner.
6. Unfortunately, it is observed that a few COVID positive cases have been detected in the Block, it is necessary that such cases are reported to Block Association immediately without any delay and the family members of the respective house should be in strict home isolation and should not be seen moving out of the residence. Unless we maintain such discipline, it will be difficult to contain the disease to the desired level.

Members and residents are requested to participate in the above events in whole hearted manner. Necessary links will be informed to you in due course.

Meanwhile, you are requested to intimate under noted residents to record your Email ID and WhatsApp number, so that it becomes easier for the Association to communicate to you in virtual platform:

It has  been decide to create a directory for the Block, data of which will also be deciding in the Apps. All residents are, therefore, requested to fill up the attached form and send it to the above members as early as possible.
